Trelliswerk Announces Joint Development Agreement with Aleph5
October 22, 2008 Woburn, Massachusetts Trelliswerk, LLC and Aleph5,
SA of Monterrey, NL in Mexico announced today their plan to build
jointly an upgraded version of Aleph5’s supply chain optimization
solution, Ernest. The new version of Ernest will build on a
concurrent, event driven architecture by leveraging Trelliswerk’s
Signify technology.
Unlike other supply chain solutions, the
next-generation Ernest platform connects directly to live data
sources and responds intelligently to evolving model behavior.
The current version of Ernest has provided the basis for successful
supply chain planning and scheduling solutions for numerous North
American corporations in the areas of glass manufacturing, beverage
distribution and battery assembly, among others. Aleph5 is known for
innovative, practical applications of mathematical techniques
especially in the areas of modeling and optimization.
Trelliswerk brings to this joint venture its expertise in the .NET
framework and implementation of live data integration, process flow
management and distributed processing.
The new version of Ernest will offer a more open architecture, low latency responsiveness, and real time capabilities for complex event handling. It is expected to be commercially available by March, 2009.
